Rouen you have my heart forever

Last Sunday was a perfect one for visiting Rouen. After such a long time we had some sun to warm us and beautiful blue sky to make us even more happier. I felt in love with this magnificent city the moment I saw its architecture: it’s an incredible mix of splendid Gothic churches and picturesque wooden houses. The real reason to go visit Rouen was an exhibition Eblouissants reflets (Dazzling Reflections, 100 Impressionist Masterpieces) in Musée des Beaux arts de Rouen. If you have a possibility to go see it don’t miss it.

“The exhibition expounds the modern reflection on this aesthetic theme through a hundred or so paintings by Monet, Renoir, Manet, Caillebotte, Signac, Cézanne and Van Gogh and a splendid collection of photographs (Gustave Le Gray, Charles Marville, Peter Henry Emerson, among others). ”
